French style, classic black and white, and a couple filled with evident love for Jesus. Combined, the wedding of Whitney and Kent will always leave me with fond memories! There were some amazing vendors who made the vision of this wedding come to life. I loved being able to work alongside The French Farmhouse venue in Dallas, Texas, hair and makeup artists Rebecca Herrera & Haylee Purdy, Fleurs by Janea, Rubby’s Catering, DJ Connection, With a Twist Bartending, & T&K Photography!
Whitney & Kent met through Hinge, but when they realized they had mutual friends, their connection truly felt meant to be! This couple is extra special to me because I actually knew Whitney & her family from a few years before! It was so awesome getting to see Whitney marry her best friend, and glorify God throughout the whole process! They both are faithful examples of what it looks like to follow Jesus & I loved seeing them incorporate their faith in their wedding day.
Whitney had her grandmothers come and pray with her before the ceremony, and she also did a first look with them which was so special. The bride & groom's first look was very sweet as well. They opted to read their private vows during that time. Being a wedding planner, I enjoy these moments of connection between the couple that really show their love for each other! During the ceremony, their parents prayed over them, and they took communion together. It was a very God-honoring day!
The French Farmhouse venue is truly one of a kind because of its French style, easy flow, and present & helpful owners! It has such a beautiful design, and it was fun seeing it as the background to Whitney and Kent’s wedding! It even has a bell tower chapel that the couple got to ring after the recessional, which was so cool. Also provided by the venue, was a vintage car that each couple can ride away in, adding the perfect touch to the end of the night! I will forever remember this peaceful & classic day for the most deserving couple!
