Fun & Stress-Free Wedding Planning for the Busy Bride in Austin, Texas

You're engaged-congratulations! This is such an exciting time, but you feel slightly overwhelmed with the logistics of it all. You might be wondering where to start, which vendor to hire first, or if you even need the help of a wedding planner at all. My name is Micah Bridges and my event planning business Bridges and Company helps you plan your amazing event! 

Some couples know exactly what they need to do to get the planning process started. Others could benefit from hiring a planner. That’s where I come in! With a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M in business management and three years working Bridges and Company, I thought it would be beneficial to explain a little bit about what I offer, so that you might be able to decide what package is best for you! 

If you need help and guidance from day one because you either don't have the time, or you are struggling to design a vision & find the right vendors to bring that vision to life, my all-inclusive package will be perfect for you! With this full service planning package, we will first meet for a design meeting. We will discuss both you and your partner’s personality and atmosphere you’re looking to achieve for your event. I will then create a 20 page mood board of all the elements! This allows us to see exactly what you are envisioning! We will have a budget meeting, where we discuss what is realistic for your location and the current economy, and we will find out what is most important to you in order that we allocate that budget accordingly. You then get to sit back and relax as I reach out to vendors to bring the budget and design to life! I create a schedule to stay on time with booking vendors, get 2-3 quotes for each vendor category, share those with you and discuss the pros and cons of each quote. I am your middle-man communicator so that you don't have to deal with any of the logistics! This allows you to simply enjoy your engagement! I reach back out to each vendor to either book them for your event or to politely let them know that we will be going in a different direction. If there are any vendors we need to meet with, I schedule those and attend the meetings with you. This might include fun tastings with the caterer or trying different cakes with the baker! I love the all-inclusive package because it allows me to get to know you better. We bond over the planning process, I am aware of all the details, and we build a strong sense of trust between us! After everything is booked, I create and execute the timeline and all other important documents for the rehearsal and the day-of the wedding. It’s magical to see the moments you dreamed up come to life! I see your special day become real and you are able to enjoy all of the hard work! 

My partial planning package might be perfect for you if you have a vision for your big day, but need a little help bringing it together while staying on budget. Maybe you have a few vendors booked, but still need some help with your final selections to really bring your vision to life. I will help from the beginning by offering budget assistance, reach out to 3 vendors and book them for you, create the timeline and other important documents, and execute it all. As much as I love the all-inclusive package, this partial planning package is a great option as well. It will allow me to still be involved, create a bond between us, and you are able to communicate directly with vendors. 

I also offer coordination. With this, I step in a couple months before the wedding by reaching out to vendors you have already booked and make sure that everyone is on the same page. I create the timeline and other important documents and double check that no other details have been forgotten. I execute the timeline on the day of the wedding and ensure that everything goes smoothly!  

I realize that budget comes into play when choosing which package is best for you and your partner, but I definitely have a favorite package. I love the all-inclusive option. It best allows me to be creative alongside you, build lasting friendships, and provide the highest quality services alongside the highest quality vendors! However, I promise to give my all with whichever package you choose to book with me. Planning events is my passion, and I love to see the love and support surrounding you on your special day!
