Yay, you’re engaged! You’ve found your partner, set the budget and date, and you've booked your wedding planner. Now, you’re ready to look at venues! I love this part of the planning process! Each couple is so different and has a unique vision for their wedding-which I love getting to know. When we talk about vision, a venue plays a huge part in that. I have lots of favorite wedding venues, but I thought I would narrow it down to my top 4 favorites in Texas Hill Country and explain why!

In no order in particular, the first venue I want to highlight is called The Vineyard at Florence. This venue is located 50 minutes outside of Austin in a town called Florence. There is a vineyard on site, and my favorite thing about this venue are the beautiful Tuscan-like views and the aesthetic of the grounds. You truly feel like you were transported to Italy. It is so peaceful and serene! On site, there is also a boutique hotel where you can stay, a restaurant, and a tasting room.

Next up, is Hidden River Ranch. Located just over an hour northwest from Austin, Hidden River Ranch is located in Lampasas, Texas. Acres of mature oak trees greet you on the drive in, which offers a rustic feel. I love the flow of this venue from the bridal suite, reception space, chapel, and cocktail hour courtyard! It was all planned out very well to ensure a flawless event. Plus, the chapel is an absolutely beautiful option for your wedding ceremony! I might be a little biased for this one since it is where I got married in 2020!

Just off historic Georgetown square, 35 minutes from Austin, sits Wish Well House. This venue is unique with its historic building and modern touches. It is also colorful! With floral wallpaper, a tan and white checkered courtyard, balcony off the bridal suite overlooking a sage green painted wall, this venue has endless photo opportunities!

Posey Meadows in San Marcos, 40 minutes outside of Austin, is another one of my favorites! It has beautiful big windows that offer the perfect natural lighting. The inside reception space offers a beautiful, white, & modern space to host your wedding. I especially love the stunning outdoor ceremony space, along with the cocktail hour patio.

Finally, Hill Country Bliss in Bertram. This venue is brand spankin new and sits 1 hour from Austin. Unique to the area and what I think really makes this venue stand out, is their open air chapel. With unobstructed views, you can enjoy the sunset and the breeze. It really does speak for itself!
