One of my favorite things about weddings is seeing all the details & hours spent planning come together flawlessly on the wedding day! Kennedy & Jacob truly had the most swoon worthy wedding that I haven’t stopped thinking about since their big day back in February. Every detail was thought out intentionally, & it ended up perfect! I am so honored I got to work with them & each of their amazing vendors- Posey Meadows, Harper Blankenship Photography, Mellizo’s Catering, Blush’d Beauty, BB Dueling Pianos, Wow Factor Floral, Prince & Ozzy Creative Co., Marquee Rentals, Cakes Couture, River City Bartending, & Hudson Comal Classics.
Posey Meadows is a gorgeous venue located in San Marcos, TX, just South of Austin, TX. Not only was it the perfect backdrop for Kennedy & Jacob, but it also offered them a trustworthy support system & peaceful space. The owners & managers at Posey Meadows are always so helpful & hands on. As a wedding planner, it truly is a night & day difference when I work weddings at venues where the managers are present & do their part. I am so grateful for the people behind the scenes at Posey Meadows! The beautiful oak trees outside make the prettiest shaded ceremony spot, & the big windows & white reception space give it a nice modern feel. It really is the perfect mix of farm & french house!
Posey Meadows also tied in nicely with the overall design that Kennedy had in mind for their wedding. They wanted something elegant & luxurious, that would really stand the test of time, while tying in their main wedding color- BLUE! Y’all know that is music to my ears. I absolutely adore weddings that incorporate color! As a wedding designer myself, I love how different patterns & textures can elevate the design & truly make it timeless! I love the wicker basket floral arrangements that were placed by her blue seating chart, the stone floral vases at the bars next to the tapestry bar menu, & the floral blue napkins at the head table. Her rental items were from Marquee Rentals & her florals were from Wow Factor Floral! Even her bridesmaid's robes & dresses were cohesive with the theme. It was all so beautiful!
They also rented a black & white checkered dance floor from Marquee which made the perfect stage for BB’s Dueling Piano Band. I promise I am being honest when I say this- I have never seen a dance floor SO PACKED! Kennedy & Jacob really wanted a fun dance floor & BB’s Dueling Piano Band was the perfect vendor to make that happen. It is always such a joy to work with them because they engage the crowd & play amazing covers! They are the best entertainment.
Kennedy’s personal detail items also tied in with her overall elegant blue theme! This might not seem necessary to some, but if you want the aesthetic flatlay photos, it is important to incorporate personal details that align with your vision! Your personal detail items can include your jewelry, perfume, invitation suite, and outfits (just to name a few). Her detail flat lay photos showcase her beautiful pearl earrings, fun champagne bottle to enjoy while getting ready, their dainty vow books & classic invitations, & my favorite, her Something Bleu shoes made in Italy!! They are stunning!
Overall, it was a flawless & peaceful day that was enjoyed by all! Harper Blankenship & Prince & Ozzy Creative Co. did an amazing job capturing the day through photo & video! They were a great duo to work with & seamlessly captured everything for Kennedy & Jacob. I am grateful to them, and all of the vendors, for making my job easy & for bringing this beautiful wedding to life! I am so happy with how their overall design flowed together so well through each vendor & element of the day! Thank you Kennedy & Jacob for letting me be a part of your special day!!
