Hallie & Landon met during their time at Texas A&M University (Whoop!)! They quickly connected over their love for the Lord, and officially began dating in April of 2020. A little over three years later, in May of 2023, the two college sweethearts had their fairytale wedding in Brenham, Texas at Deep in the Heart Farms!
The amazing vendor team that Hallie selected & trusted really made her dream wedding a reality. The vendors include Deep in the Heart Farms, Franny Pullin Photography, The Flowered Blue, Bridges & Co., Events to Remember, Buppy’s Catering, Glow & Grace Artistry, DJ Connections, & Words by Kaitlyn.
Whimsy, elegant, & colorful!! Just three words to describe the aesthetic of this perfect day. Hallie did not steer clear of all of the beautiful spring flowers & colors when selecting her color palette. The beautiful lavender, blues, yellows, and pinks were absolutely stunning. Mabry, with The Flowered Blue, designed & created the perfect whimsical arrangements to bring this palette to life. Mabry also met Hallie & Landon in college, and was not just their florist! She was also a special member of their house party, and remains a good friend to this day!
The Flowered Blue is not the only vendor that Hallie knew before getting engaged! Her other dear friend & bridesmaid, Kaitlyn (Words by Kaitlyn), is an amazing hand letterer, creating beautiful custom signs for any event! For Hallie & Landon’s big day, she provided an acrylic sign with outlined wildflowers, a custom banner with Song of Solomons 3:4 written on it, a custom acrylic cake stand that also had wildflowers drawn on it, a “pick a seat, not a side” sign, and gold & acrylic table numbers with lavender flowers pressed inside. She truly went above and beyond, and also contributed to the successful “lavender fairytale” theme!
This wedding was especially magical to me, because I also met Hallie before she was ever engaged! I had the privilege of being the assistant coordinator at one of her best friend’s (Casey) weddings back in May of 2021. I remember meeting & “falling in love” with all of the sweet bridesmaids, two of them being Hallie & Kaitlyn. Two years later, I got to reunite with all of those girls, except this time Hallie was the bride! What a full circle moment!
I am forever thankful that I got to coordinate for Hallie & Landon! Through my event management package, I got to step in 3 months prior to the big day. I ironed out all of the little details, communicated back and forth with all of her vendors, & created the timeline, layout, and other wedding day documents. On the day of, I not only helped with the set up & clean up, but I executed the timeline & managed all of the vendors. Couples like Hallie & Landon, and their sweet families, make my job easy! I’d do it over & over again for them!
I will close with a couple of fun final details from the day. Hallie, being a Swiftie, decided to have a piano cover of “Today was a Fairytale” play during her ceremony processional. As an added touch, the venue allowed the couple to brand a special wall, leaving a forever mark of their unity. It was all truly magical!I think everyone present can agree that May 26th, 2023 was a fairytale. There is no couple more deserving, and no team of vendors that could have pulled it off as flawlessly & graciously!
