It’s something special being able to plan someone’s wedding, but it’s another thing entirely when you know the couple’s story from the beginning! Shelby & Will’s wedding is one of those with a sweet origin story. When I was a senior at Texas A&M, Shelby was a freshman, and she and I met at Impact Camp. A week before Impact, Shelby attended fish camp where she met a boy named Will. At Impact, she told me all about this boy & how she really liked him. Fast forward 4 years, and Shelby & Will are now married, & I got to coordinate their wedding for them!
Shelby & Will dated through college, and bonded over their love for Jesus and their many common interests! It has been so cool witnessing the excitement in Shelby from the moment she met Will, up to their wedding day! With the help of some amazing vendors, their wedding at Wish Well House in Georgetown, Texas, became a classy reality. The vendors included bartender Wish Well House, photographer Color & Beam, Pappas Catering, Hannah Zahner for hair and makeup, DJ Stephen Ellis with Ellis Entertainment, Premier Events for the rentals, Confectious Pastry, Paper Affair, and Central Market for the florals. I absolutely loved having the opportunity to coordinate this wedding & work alongside these fellow professionals.
Shelby had a vision of a classic blue and white theme for this wedding, which she did a great job sticking to! From the bridesmaids dresses to the floral arrangements, the hue was cohesive throughout the whole event. I especially loved Shelby’s fun blue cowgirl boots she changed into for the reception-along with her hair change from a classy updo to an elegant half up/half down hairstyle. To add a fun & unique touch, Shelby’s aunt made their family’s special rum cake recipe to pass out as favors. It was such a great idea & very appreciated by all the guests who got to take home the treat! This wedding turned out to be beautiful, charming, full of love, and one I enjoyed coordinating for this special couple!
